WHY WE FIGHT

WE ARE MEN FIGHTING OVARIAN CANCER

MFOC was created in memory of all women fighting Ovarian Cancer, particularly Sally Tillmanns, beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

My wife and best friend of 54 years passed away following a 19-month battle with Ovarian Cancer. I was with her every single day and as a witness to what she endured, I have dedicated myself to making a difference in the battle against OC.

If Ovarian Cancer has affected your loved ones, and you want to do something about this terrible disease, then join us at Men Fighting Ovarian Cancer. We provide the means for you to make a difference and honor the women you love.

Early diagnosis is the key to providing positive treatment results. Developing better chemotherapy “cocktails” is important, but discovering the cancer at an earlier stage dramatically improves the effectiveness of these cancer fighting agents.

There are cancer fundraising events in communities throughout the country. Unfortunately, only a few raise money for Ovarian Cancer (especially for early stage diagnosis).

The mission of MFOC is to create an awareness about OC and the need for early diagnosis research. If we can engage acquaintances, businesses, foundations to support fundraising events for OC early diagnosis research, then we, over time, will make a difference.
